Carrie Underwood is going back to the same American Idol stage where her career began, but this time as a judge – and fellow star Luke Bryan has some advice for the newcomer.
The 41-year-old Jesus Take The Wheel songstress made a name for herself after winning the grand prize during the fourth season of the singing competition in 2005.
Now the blonde beauty is headed back to her American Idol roots to help Luke and Lionel Richie find Hollywood’s next mega star.
And while Carrie is no stranger to the limelight, Luke has still offered up a warning for the new judge ahead of season 23.
The Country Girl hitmaker took to social media to warn Carrie of the pressure that is to come as he advised she ‘up her therapy.’

While speaking to Audacy’s 100.7 The Wolf, Luke told the singer to brace herself.
He said: ‘If she has a therapist, she’s probably going to have to double [up] to deal with me and Lionel.’
The current judge – who is prepping for his seventh season with American Idol – even offered to help Carrie.
He joked: ‘Do therapists do gift cards? I can call her therapist and gift her a voucher.’
Luke joined American Idol as a judge in season 16 alongside Lionel and Katy Perry.
Following Katy’s exit, it was announced that Carrie would be taking over.
Carrie will return to the stage 20 years after she won in the season, which is set to air in spring 2025.
The blonde beauty is the first American Idol alum to return as a judge.
