After Concord’s unceremonious demise, Secret Level should work on a bonus episode dedicated to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming out later this year on the Xbox and PC platforms; however, the gaming community saw it coming from a mile away that this game will inevitably be released on the PlayStation 5 a few months after it launches on the native console. This year’s Gamescom was a flurry of emotions, and it would make sense for Microsoft and Bethesda Game Studios to market this project in any way possible like teaming up with Amazon Prime Video.

Secret Level is an anthology series set within the world of video games that will be featured. Each franchise will have a dedicated episode; however, there is one game that never stood a chance and will still receive a dedicated episode that could be repurposed for something else.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Should Have a Dedicated Episode on Secret Level
The developers of MachineGames were pleased to finally reveal the cat out of the bag and announce that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will officially be released on the PlayStation 5 early next year. Bethesda Game Studios intended the project to be a multiplatform title until Microsoft acquired the parent company of the gaming studio and is all hands on deck for the imminent release.
Amazon Prime Video is going the extra mile by creating several episodes with different gaming franchises as the focus to tell a new story. Games like Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, Sifu, Armored Core, and various first-party exclusives of PlayStation Studios like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and by some miracle, Concord was given a dedicated episode. It is no secret that the game failed spectacularly and has thrown 8 years’ worth of hard work and sacrifice by the developers of Firewalk Studios down the drain.
Sony Interactive Entertainment saw the writing on the wall and ultimately decided it was best to shut down all servers mere days after it launched on the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms to avoid further embarrassment. The game had a mixed reception from the gaming community and there are a fair few who enjoyed their brief time with the online multiplayer shooter title; however, the numbers do not lie and prove this game will not last, especially amidst the fierce competition.
There is no telling if Prime Video will scrap the Concord episode entirely; however, the studio can work a separate bonus episode to compensate for the episode of an already dead game. Perhaps the showrunners behind Secret Level can make a bonus episode dedicated to Indiana Jones and there are still a few months for the team to work on it. While it is unfortunate to see a major gaming company like Sony Interactive Entertainment bet their chips on a doomed project, the studio still has a few silver bullets that can be better utilized.
The Failure of Concord Could Open a Small Window of Opportunities for Other Games

Other games could benefit from this unfortunate turn of events like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Amazon Prime Video ordered 15 episodes for the anthology series, one of which is centered around a game that is no longer playable. Perhaps the studio could do another bonus episode for an upcoming game instead.
The gaming community is ready to move on to other games worth learning about. The failure of Concord will be charged to experience for Sony Interactive Entertainment, and it will set a precedent for future projects under the PlayStation Studios umbrella to focus on single-player and story-driven games like The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and many more.
MachineGames and Bethesda Game Studios could benefit from a dedicated episode on Secret Level. Perhaps this will drive up the gaming community’s interest to grab Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on day one; however, time is of the essence.
Amazon Prime Video could greenlight a second season of the anthology series if the first season does well. Perhaps other gaming franchises will be given the same treatment.
