In the music industry, few relationships have been as pivotal as that between Justin Bieber and his longtime manager, Scooter Braun. The talent manager was lucky enough to discover the singer when he was just 13 years old and guided him from being a YouTube sensation to becoming an international superstar.

Throughout Bieber’s turbulent career, marked by ups and downs, Braun was often seen as the steady hand, helping the young singer navigate fame. Now with news coming out that the 30-year-old was targeted by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, it looks like the young star thankfully had a shoulder to lean on.

How Scooter Braun looked out for Justin Bieber

Just a month ago, Diddy’s arrest for s*x trafficking and racketeering made waves. Although many of Hollywood’s elite were dragged down for being associated with him, for Justin Bieber, it wound up bringing up some major past trauma. After all, the Sorry singer had spent a lot of time behind closed doors with the rapper.

Bieber chose to isolate once news of Diddy’s “freak offs” and alleged assaults made their way online. However, a source close to the star opened up to Page Six about how the singer had one person in his corner no matter what, his manager, Scooter Braun.

Family members are concerned about Justin. It’s unclear whether Diddy would have taken advantage of Justin at the time as his family was nearby, and his manager Scooter Braun really did care about him.

Although Braun had been around Bieber and protected him and his career from any major damage, it seems like a few things managed to slip through the cracks. The source also added, “But saying that, Justin did go through a really bad period, a very rebellious phase.”

Braun was no stranger to Bieber’s wild side. After all, years ago, he went on The Red Pill podcast and discussed his client’s erratic behavior. The manager stated, “There was a time where I would go to sleep almost every night, when he had the money to fly away from me, and I was worried every night that I was going to lose him.”

Thankfully, Braun’s fear did not become a reality. However, it looks like the CEO of Hybe could not protect his client the way he had hoped. Although Bieber had chosen to isolate for the last month, he recently surprised fans with his social media post and performance since July.

Justin Bieber ready to open up about the Diddy accusations

Just a day ago, Justin Bieber made waves when he shared a cryptic social media post that sent his fans into a frenzy. Although the 30-year-old seems to want to get on with his life, behind the scenes, he has been opening up about the abuse he went through at the hands of his former mentor, Diddy, to his friends.

According to reports from In Touch Weekly, a source had revealed that Bieber was finally ready to get some of his trauma off his chest. While the musician was nowhere close to being ready to share his ordeals with the world, he had begun trusting his close circle.

The last thing Justin wants to do is relive or even discuss his complicated friendship with Diddy. But he’s finally breaking his silence to his friends about his nightmare experience and the private hell it’s caused him.

Bieber seems ready to leave his nightmarish past behind. After all, just hours ago the Ghost singer made his first public appearance since the news of Diddy’s arrest broke. He made a surprise return to the stage at a Don Toliver concert, according to reports from the Mirror.

With Bieber having the support of his wife, Hailey Bieber, he seems to be ready to step back into the music world with a clean slate.
