The American actor, who is married to Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, was spotted as he spends time in the city while his wife films the second series of The Buccaneers.
Acclaimed actor Adam Brody, known for his roles in The O.C and the recent Netflix series Nobody Wants This, made an unexpected appearance at a Glasgow soft play this week.
He delighted a starstruck mother when he agreed to take a photo with her whilst in town supporting his Gossip Girl wife Leighton Meester as she films the second season of the Apple TV period drama The Buccaneers.
Adam was spotted enjoying time at Inflata Nation in Kinning Park, reports Glasgow Live.
Starstruck mum Jemma McMillan, who was there for her child’s birthday celebration, expressed her disbelief at bumping into her “teenage crush”. After spending an hour doubting if it really was the star from The O.C, she decided to seize the chance for a picture when he stood to leave. According to Jemma, Adam was “lovely, very down to earth and played away with his kids”.
Leighton Meester has joined the ensemble cast for the sophomore season of The Buccaneers, which is currently being filmed across Glasgow. Recently, the city’s Mitchell Library on North Street became the focal point of the production, with horses and carriages providing a glimpse into the setting as well as historic street signs enhancing the historic facade of the building,
Christina Hendricks, another illustrious co-star, has been spotted sharing images from the set near the library.
The flame-haired actor took to social media to post a picture of herself donned in an eye-catching blue period costume, as she makes her comeback as Patricia “Patti” St. George in the popular series.
The show chronicles the escapades of a cohort of young American women in the 1870s who travel to London with the aim of securing husbands and titles, leading to a host of entertaining adventures in the city.
