In 2014, Del Puerto took on the role of drug lord and criminal Adres Diaz in several episodes of NBC’s Chicago PD during its first four episodes.

After his time on the police drama, he appeared in Rizzoli and Isles, The Lottery, NCIS, The Magicians, and NCIS Los Angeles.

Horror enthusiasts may also recognise him from the memorable post-apocalyptic spin-off Fear The Walking Dead, where he portrayed Luis Flores in the second season of 2016.
