Amid these serious allegations, one resurfaced clip from a 2017 interview has also dragged the Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio into the controversy. A brief clip from an interview, featuring the rapper describing the Titanic star as his favorite party guest, has sparked some unwarranted backlash against DiCaprio.

After gaining recognition for his music in the ’90s, Diddy became known for his lavish White Parties, an annual event known for its exclusivity and star-studded guest list.

The annual tradition began over Labor Day weekend in 1998, when the rapper hosted a barbecue at his Hamptons home soon earned him the nickname “modern-day Gatsby,” with the guest list including several Hollywood A-listers and socialites.

These parties continued till 2009, with the last White Party held in Beverly Hills in 2009. And in a 2017 interview with Vogue, Combs shared his plans to bring back the White Parties. “The White Party is coming back this year,” he said.

When asked who was the number one person on his guest list for the party, Diddy named the Oscar-winning actor, “Leonardo DiCaprio,” who had attended previous events, as evidenced by the pictures available from his parties.

However, Diddy’s mention of The Great Gatsby star has now dragged DiCaprio into the controversy surrounding the rapper, with many pointing out his much-discussed preference for dating women under 25.

The resurfaced clip from Diddy’s interview has sparked a backlash against The Revenant star, with people expressing shock and questioning the actor’s reputation in light of recent revelations about Diddy.

“Birds of the same feathers flock together,” one X (Twitter) user said sharing their reaction. While some are disturbed by Diddy calling Leonardo DiCaprio his “favorite guest,” raising questions about the broader dynamics within Hollywood.

However, others pointed out that Diddy mentioned the “white party” during the interview, suggesting that DiCaprio may not have been involved in the debauchery described by others who attended Diddy’s notorious events.

Comedian Marlon Wayans, who admitted to attending Diddy’s parties, supported such claims in a recent interview, claiming he has never witnessed the alleged misconduct.
