Leonardo DiCaprio is often in the news, not only for his impressive acting performances but also for his unique dating lifestyle. The Oscar-winning actor has had a number of girlfriends and flings over the years, and is infamous for dating women many years his junior, specifically those younger than the age of 25.

Meanwhile, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner probably has had a similar legacy if not more when it comes to dating. And in a new interview, the widow of the magazine conglomerate, Crystal Hefner alleged that the Hollywood superstar is turning into the Playboy boss before revealing shocking details about his past with popstar Rihanna.

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the finest actors of his generation, delivering one acting masterclass after the other. Yet outside the realms of the film industry and acting, DiCaprio has a reputation for only dating young women, women many years his junior.

The Oscar-winning actor will be turning 50 this year but is in a relationship with the Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, who is currently 25. However, his relationship with the model isn’t the only one where he dated women many years his junior, for previously too he has been linked with several actors and models who were younger than 25 (see Cosmopolitan).

Meanwhile, Hugh Hefner, founder of the adult magazine Playboy, too had a knack for dating younger women. Although his legacy seems to be more shrouded in several controversies, as per the A&E series Secrets of Playboy, it is his relationships that make him similar to the Hollywood star (see US Weekly).

And in a new interview on the Carrie & Tommy Podcast, Crystal Hefner stated DiCaprio has been turning into the Playboy founder.

“Leo DiCaprio is turning into the new Hef. The girls [girlfriends] are getting younger and I’m like ‘Oh God, it’s a bad look’.”

While there are certain similarities between the two other than their romances (via The Sun), it would be wrong to compare the two given their legacies.

Yet as per Crystal Hefner, the two celebrities crossed paths during a party at the Playboy mansion and shared a fling that no one really knew about until now (via the Carrie & Tommy podcast).

After stating that Leonardo DiCaprio was turning into her late husband, Hefner stated how once years ago she had spotted Rihanna and the actor hooking up at the Playboy mansion. Revealing that the singer was in her 20s back then, Hefner remarked,

“I remember Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna hooking up one night. I remember thinking, ‘That’s smart, hook up with each other and then we won’t tell anyone.’”
