Agatha All Along is over but fans are still discussing the successful series as well as all of its implications. It has been a ride, from a shocking beginning, through a series of twists and turns, to an end that is more or less justified and deserved for… well, not all, but almost all of the characters.

We know that after Agatha kissed Lady Death, she turns into a ghost of herself and decides to remain with Billy as a mentor/aide-type of character, which opens up many possibilities for the future. But if you thought that this was it for Agatha…

… well, you might be wrong! Namely, there is a very interesting theory that might explain just how Agatha could come back to the MCU alive, not simply as a ghost, as most fans expect, and it is tied to a highly-anticipated MCU project that could change the general storyline going forward!

This theory was initially presented by our friends from ScreenRant, but we thought that it was interesting enough for us to bring you a shorter version of the whole story and to give our opinion on the theory as a whole, so please keep reading, as it is going to be very interesting.

Okay, to quickly repeat, Agatha turned into a ghost after her kiss with Lady Death and has remained with Billy to help him further on his journey.

Effectively, this brings an end to Agatha’s story in the MCU in the form we’ve seen her in. But, this does not mean that her MCU journey is over; in fact, every rumor and hint we have had up to this point suggests that Agatha will be back at one point, although the details are still not known.

Most fans are speculating that she will be related to either the rumored Scarlet Witch solo project or the Vision Quest series, or possibly both, with some speculating that we might see her in the Avengers storylines as well.

As said, all of this is mere speculation at this point, but Agatha’s return has been hinted at by several people involved with the projects.

Having said that, our friends from ScreenRant have seemingly discovered a way to integrate Agatha into the MCU in a completely different manner – namely, by bringing her back to life, not as a ghost! The theory is related to the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps storyline.

First, the basics. We know that the Fantastic Four movie will apparently be set in the 1960s and that we will be seeing the children of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman (Franklin has practically been confirmed already).

We also know that the movie will be set in a different universe, so it’s not part of the MCU’s main Earth. In one of the comic books, Agatha Harkness was the babysitter of the Richards’ children, which could open a door for a variant of Agatha to appear.

We also know that ghosts are able to possess the bodies of people in the MCU, as seen in Agatha All Along, which gives a lot of possibilities to Agatha going forward. This is where the theory kicks in.

If Agatha were to discover her own variant in the Fantastic Four universe, she could potentially take over her body and thus come back to life, as well as get a proper redemption arc as the caretaker of children. This seems plausible and the theory has solid foundations in the comics, but there is a catch.

Namely, the movie’s director has already stated that the movie will be focused on the Fantastic Four, i.e., that no other superheroes will be present. And while Agatha is not a superhero and this theory accounts for her appearance regardless of this, it is highly unlikely that the movie would make such a move at this point. Still, one can hope, right?
