She apparently ‘will b e kind about Phillip Schofield’
Holly Willoughby has reportedly arrived at ITV’s London studios and is said to be “nervous” about returning to This Morning today.
Reports claim Holly Willoughby “will be kind about Phillip Schofield” but he has said he won’t be watching This Morning.
Since Phillip Schofield’s scandal properly kicked off, Holly Willoughby has been away for two weeks, including a half term holiday to Portugal with her family.

She’s set to present This Morning today with Josie Gibson from 10am.
A source close to Holly Willoughby has claimed she feels she has faced “undeserved” pressure over the scandal, which saw Schofield quit over an affair with a producer much younger than him.
An insider told The Times: “She’s going to be kind about Phillip. And then her whole thing is going to be about ‘steadying the ship’ and taking care of the This Morning family.” Another source claimed viewers should “expect an outpouring of emotion as she returns, and a lot of tears and hugs.”
Those close to Phillip Schofield have revealed he won’t be watching This Morning today as it would be too “triggering” for him, especially the opening credits he featured in for more than two decades.
Holly Willoughby was on holiday in Portugal last week with her family and is believed to have written the speech herself and emotions are set to run high as she reads it live on air. A source told The Mirror: “She was naturally apprehensive about getting back after her extended break. So much has happened and it’s been one storm after another. But she needn’t worry as the team are behind her. Everyone is desperately hoping her speech draws a line under the matter, at least until the barrister-led review comes back. Expect an outpouring of emotion as she returns, and a lot of tears and hugs.”
