You don’t have to look particularly far online to see why Gal Gadot is one of the most loathed actors in the industry. In the build up to Gal Gadot getting absolutely panned for her role as the villainous Queen in Snow White, she was already getting rinsed for how shocking her line delivery is in a load of films which honestly has everyone questioning how she managed to make it so big in the first place. “Enough champagne to fill the Nile”, “Kal-El no”, “I need you to give me the stone” – all shockers. And they’re getting memed to hell on TikTok. But there’s one Gal Gadot line in Snow White that might be worse than them all, as people say it sounds like she morphed into none other than Scooby-Doo.
And fair play, really. Because it’s absolutely uncanny and you will not be able to unhear it.
I do not think this was the intended reception

The Scooby-Doo comparisons come from a clip in Snow White where Gal Gadot says “Are you against me too” before snapping around and saying “ARE YOU – yes or no?” The offending culprit that has everyone laughing online is specifically the way she barks (sorry) “are you”. The original tweet pointing it out now has 268,000 likes on Twitter / X and has been viewed nearly 9 million times.

Someone in the replies even posted a gif of Scooby-Doo flipping his lil dog head round in the same way, and it’s kind of uncanny. Even down to the facial expressions. Oh brother.
Everyone is also questioning how on earth the camera crew filming Snow White didn’t crack up at the Gal Gadot Scooby-Doo moment. Perhaps on set everything was taken very seriously, but it just needed one witty crew member to make the comparison and it would have been game over. Hey, at least Rachel Zegler was great.
Now I have an insatiable desire to watch Sarah Michelle Gellar gobble every scene she’s in as live action Daphne. Weekend plans locked the hell IN.
