TV host Ant McPartlin has given fans a rare insight into his life as a new father, confessing that he is feeling “very tired.”
The much-loved presenter from the popular reality series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! wrapped up this year’s stint in the jungle alongside his presenting partner, Dec Donnelly.
However, during the airing of the behind-the-scenes special, Coming Out, which provides viewers with a peek at the celeb contestants’ lives post-show, Ant disclosed an unexpected detail about family life.
While trekking to the jungle for one last time, the pair reminisced about the 2024 jungle lineup. Dec expressed his reluctance for the series to end, saying, “I’m not quite ready for it to be over,” reports OK!

Reflecting on the campmates from this year’s show, Dec mentioned, “I just love them, though,” to which Ant readily agreed, remarking, “I do like them. They’re a great cast, aren’t they? “.
Ant, aged 48, embraced parenthood in May with his spouse, Anne-Marie Corbett, as the couple celebrated the arrival of their son.

In a chat with Daily Star, he previously exclaimed: “I’m really good, I’m really happy. There are lots of nappies and sleepless nights, but it’s absolutely wonderful. I’m loving it. It’s been the best year.”
He offered further insights saying: “Dec has been very good – he’s given me some good advice.”
Dec, a father of two, imparted at the time: “I do share tips and things. They’re very bad. My tips are normally: give the baby to somebody else! That’s it.”

The curtain closed on this season’s I’m A Celebrity last Sunday (December 8), with McFly’s Danny Jones taking the title. Despite his victory, the newly crowned king of the jungle expressed disappointment during a chat with Lorraine Kelly.
Danny revealed: “I didn’t get to keep anything! They wouldn’t let me keep anything! I had to give the sceptre back. I really wanted to bring it through airport security because it’s quite big.
“But yeah, I don’t have anything to show for it,” reflecting on his lack of tangible mementoes from his time on the show.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Coming Out airs Friday 13th December at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
