The makeup artist and TV presenter seem to have put their differences aside
Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has made a rare display of support towards the Britain’s Got Talent presenter.
Armstrong, 47, and McPartlin, 48, had been together for 23 years and married for 11 when they decided to split in 2018.
The marriage ended acrimoniously, with McPartlin soon after moving on with their former PA Anne-Marie Corbett.
While there seemed to be a lot of animosity between the former couple, particularly regarding the custody of the dog they share, Hurley, it seems they may have moved past their disagreements.
Armstrong showed a display of support recently by liking a post featuring McPartlin and his co-star Dec Donnelly. On International Dog Day, the presenting duo shared a post to celebrate their four-legged friends.
The snaps featured Donnelly’s sausage dog, Rocky, and McPartlin’s two Malipoo’s Milo and Bumble as well as Labrador Hurley.
The caption read: “Dog dump (not that kind… get your mind out the gutter!) #InternationalDogDay”. Armstrong soon gave the post a show of support by liking it.
McPartlin and Armstrong co-own Hurley, which was the cause of much of the animosity between the pair. It’s understood Armstrong argued for full custody of Hurley seeing as the TV presenter owns other dogs with his current wife.
Much of Armstrong’s Instagram feed is of her beloved pooch and her adoration for Hurley is clear. During the couple’s £31million divorce, McPartlin reportedly told lawyers: “She can have anything she wants – except the dog,” according to MailOnline.
Armstrong has in the last few years shared several cryptic posts online which fans believe to be about her ex, but it seems the two may have turned over a new leaf.

Armstrong still frequently posts about relationships and single life, with the makeup artist, who works behind the scenes on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, recently sharing a quote about marriage.
The post read: “Marry a man who wants to be a husband, not a man who just wants a wife. A man who wants to be a husband is a man who’s willing to provide, protect and fulfil your dreams. He is ready to do whatever he can to make things work.
“A man who just wants a wife is a man who’s only thinking about what you can do for him, and not what he can do for you.”
Armstrong split from her electrician boyfriend earlier this year after three years together, so has faced a difficult 2024.

However, most of her social media posts centre around Hurley and the enjoyable times she shares with the black Labrador.
A recent snap of Hurley resting his head sleepily read: “My Baby Boy is 11!!!… Happy Birthday Hurley you absolute beauty. #MamasBabyBoy.”
Another video showed the dog refusing to keep moving while out for a walk, which Armstrong hilariously captioned: “Just want to confirm Hurls is absolutely fine, I was trying to get him home but he wouldn’t go past the pub as it has treats on the bar.
“I’d been in 3 times and it was getting a little embarrassing!!!!….Thank-you though for all the well wishes.” (sic)
