Making waves on Tuesday (January 21), Piers graced ITV once more, alongside Lorraine, engaging in candid banter about their TV careers.

The young Trump had given sage advice to his notorious dad, suggesting a strategy shift to YouTube to amplify his presidential campaign a tactic that Piers highlighted as “pivotal” for Trump’s victory lap, reports the Daily Record.
Barron, in a savvy move recognised by the veteran broadcaster, had recommended the elder Trump follow younger audiences to the vast realms of the internet, specifically YouTube, stepping away from traditional media Goliaths.
Recounting the significant influence of Barron’s guidance, Piers detailed how even his own children had called him an ‘old dinosaur’ tied to television, an ever-fading medium among the youth who prefer to binge through the lens of YouTube.
Reflecting on Barron’s wisdom, Piers shared: “He knew, rather like my sons, who have told me ‘Dad, you old dinosaur, get off TV. No one my age is watching TV,’ which they are not. But they are watching it through the prism of Youtube, so there’s a future Lorraine, for us. For us old TV dinosaurs.”

He then boldly spoke about his and Lorraine’s on-screen future, commenting: “The future is not going to be the same way that we in our generation, you know, we just flicked on network telly and watched it… the network bosses here won’t like me saying that… but get with the programme.”
Expanding further, he remarked: “Actually young people watch this kind of content in a different way.”
With a nod of agreement, the host chimed in: “They do agreed,” yet insisted: “They’re still watching the content they’re just watching it in a different way.”
