And, the couple’s young children, ages four and one, and pet dog were unharmed, further shrouding the case in mystery.

No arrests have yet been made, but Columbus cops have released a video that shows a person, who had their hood up, walking down a snow-covered alley.

They have been identified as a person of interest.

The alley is near the Tepe family home, located in Columbus.

The person’s head was stooped and their hands were in their coat pockets.

Cops believe the couple were murdered inside their home between 2am and 5am on December 30.

A murder-suicide has been ruled out and cops are yet to reveal a motive behind the killings.

In their report, cops said there were no signs of forced entry.

Spencer, who worked at the Athens Dental Depot, failed to show up for work on December 30, sparking concern among his friends and co-workers.

Mark Valrose said Spencer was always punctual and would call in if he was having trouble getting into work, as reported by the ABC affiliate WSYX-TV.

A series of 911 calls were made before Spencer and Monique’s bodies were found.

The first call was made to dispatchers at 9:03am.

Cops then went to the Tepe family home, arriving at 9:22am but received no answer.

A worried pal then called 911 at 9:57am after he heard children inside.

“I can hear kids inside and I think I heard one yell,” the caller said, according to a transcript seen by CNN

10:05 am: The same person calls 911 again, telling dispatchers there’s a body near a bed

Then, the same person called 911 again after spotting Spencer’s body near a bed.

Spencer was shot several times and three 9mm shell casings were found inside the property.

The Tepes had been married since 2021 and were weeks away from celebrating their five-year anniversary.

Spencer received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2017.

He enjoyed playing golf and traveling, according to his work biography.

The pal who called 911 said people had heard from Spencer the day before he was found dead, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

He said Spencer didn’t take drugs.

Tributes have been paid to the couple.

Rob Misleh, the couple’s brother-in-law, said he’s not so sure the person in the video is a suspect.

“I do think, you know, (it’s a) suspicious-looking person there. It also very well could be somebody walking home drunk from a bar,” Misleh, told NewsNation.

Misleh told NBC News that Spencer and Monique were amazing parents.

Monique’s family described her as a loving mom and a patient partner, as reported by The Dispatch.

Audrey Mackie, a cousin, described Spencer and Monique as the “proud parents to two beautiful kids.”

“Their presence was as big as their hearts!” Mackie said in a GoFundMe page that has since been created.

“Monique’s charm and infectious smile lit up every room.

“She was warm with a strength that inspired everyone around her. Spencer was the soul of every gathering—grand in personality, yet calm, steady, and kind.”

The autopsy could take at least a month to be completed.
