His friends reportedly last saw him in bed at 6am on Thursday morning but when they woke up again between 9 and 9.30am, he was gone.
Lines’ phone, bag, and other belongings had been left behind but his car was gone and he had his festival wristband.
The band was reportedly never swiped into the festival that day.
There was a bank alert on Lines’ phone at 10.50am, according to a post from his brother Kyle Smith, and his license plate pinged heading north out of Nashville on Friday evening.
The family of the Indiana native has released pictures of the white 2016 Lexus RX350 with Purdue license plate QC9104.
They have asked anyone who sees the vehicle or Lines to contact law enforcement immediately.
The family said Lines left without telling his friends of his plans.
They reportedly filed a missing persons’ report that day.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Nashville and Manchester Police Department.
Manchester police confirmed a missing person’s report had not been filed in the county as Lines’ wristband had not been scanned there.

“There were 10 hours when nobody knew what happened.” The family has just announced that Trevor Lines’ car disappeared sometime after sunrise. By late afternoon, his Lexus was still traveling through Tennessee. What happened during that time remains a complete mystery
The quiet morning hours of Thursday, June 11, 2026, held no immediate signs of tragedy when one of Trevor Lines’ friends glanced across their Nashville Airbnb around sunrise. Seeing the twenty-six-year-old Purdue University graduate seemingly asleep in his bed, the friend went back to sleep, expecting an exciting weekend ahead at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. By 9:30 AM, however, the bed was empty, and Trevor’s phone, wallet, and keys were found left behind on the counter. What followed was a terrifying vacuum of information that has now forced the family to make a chilling announcement. There were ten critical hours when nobody knew what happened, a massive timeline gap spanning from the moment Trevor vanished at dawn to the final late-afternoon sighting of his vehicle.
During this ten-hour blind spot, Trevor’s white 2016 Lexus RX 350 was actively traveling through Tennessee, yet its specific movements remained a complete mystery. The ordinary drive from the Douglas Avenue Airbnb in Nashville to Goodlettsville, where the vehicle was ultimately tracked, should have taken no longer than twenty to thirty minutes. Instead, nearly eleven hours elapsed before automated systems flagged the Purdue University license plates on Long Hollow Pike near a Cracker Barrel at 4:40 PM. This staggering delay proves that the vehicle was either idling at an undisclosed location, driving in erratic circles, or being held off the main grid by an unknown operator during the peak hours of the day.
A few cryptic digital markers did emerge within this ten-hour void, offering chilling hints of a situation spiraling out of control. At 10:50 AM, roughly five hours into the disappearance, a high-priority financial alert from Chase Bank lit up the screen of the smartphone Trevor had left behind at the rental house. While the details of this transaction remain heavily guarded by federal and local investigators, the timing indicates that someone was manipulating Trevor’s financial life in the middle of the day while his friends were frantically calling local hospitals. Furthermore, law enforcement license plate readers later confirmed that the Lexus had bypassed the route to the music festival entirely, heading north along the Interstate 65 corridor instead of south toward Manchester.
The family’s announcement regarding these missing ten hours has completely shifted the focus of the investigation, as it suggests Trevor was being held under duress long before the public became aware of his disappearance. The mystery of what occurred during those daylight hours was retroactively illuminated by a ten-second fragment of CCTV footage captured at the end of that timeline at 4:40 PM. The video showed the white SUV clipping a curb before a young man matching Trevor’s description desperately tried to escape through the passenger door, only to be violently dragged back inside by a dark, hooded figure. This brutal struggle marked the end of the ten-hour gap and the beginning of an interstate manhunt.
With the realization that Trevor’s vehicle was circulating through the Nashville metropolitan area and northern Tennessee for an entire day, authorities are making an urgent appeal to the public. Investigators are asking any motorists who were traveling along the I-65 corridor or near Long Hollow Pike between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM on that Thursday to review their dashcam footage for any sight of the white Lexus RX 350. The family remains trapped in an agonizing wait, knowing that the key to finding Trevor lies within the dark, unmapped hours of a day that should have been defined by music, friendship, and celebration.
