Agatha All Along is the latest installment in the MCU. Given its unique themes, few anticipated it would achieve such popularity or attract a solid viewership. According to initial figures from Luminate, Agatha All Along garnered 9.3 million views on Disney+ in its first week of streaming.

While the data isn’t completely precise, it serves as a solid indicator of the show’s overall popularity. However, these numbers are significantly lower than those of The Acolyte, and viewership has been steadily declining since the show’s premiere.

On a positive note, Nielsen has finally released the viewership numbers for September 16 to September 22, 2024, and Agatha All Along surprisingly made it onto the “Top 10 Originals” list.

During that week, Agatha All Along garnered 426 million minutes watched, securing 8th place, just behind Tulsa King, which had slightly more viewing time.

One notable absence from the list was The Penguin, which follows Oswald Cobblepot after the events of The Batman: Part I.

Initial numbers indicated that the show attracted 1.4 million U.S. viewers across all platforms during its debut on September 19.

Viewership for The Penguin is on the rise, with Episode 4 drawing 1.7 million cross-platform viewers on Max and HBO in the U.S., according to Warner Bros. Discovery data. This marks a 21.43% increase from the series premiere and is also an uptick from Episode 2, which attracted 1.6 million viewers.

However, based on these Nielsen data, it appears that Agatha All Along is currently more popular than The Penguin. This could be attributed to the fact that The Penguin has only released one episode so far. Given the upward trend in viewership, it’s possible the show will appear in the next chart.
