Kathryn Hahn made history on her Disney+ show Agatha All Along in a unique way.
The Bad Moms actress is officially the first woman to show her naked butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
When asked about the decision to bare her bottom on the Monday, Oct. 28 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, Hahn, 51, revealed that the nude scene was her idea, and that it was rooted in the character’s head space.
“Well, when we see Agatha at the beginning [of the first episode] she’s completely without her powers,” Hahn explained. “And she has to bust out of this spell — or is helped out of this spell — by some mysterious characters. And I think when she first realizes it was described [in the script] as ‘She puts on a robe and goes outside.’ “

“And I was like, ‘I wonder if she would put on a robe … because she is in a feral state,’ ” Hahn recalled. “Like, I think that she was just feral … she wouldn’t even be thinking about [it.]”
“That’s commitment,” host Jennifer Hudson commented, to which Hahn joked, “There was a lot of double-sided tape.”
The host and “Spotlight” singer, 43, then pointed out that the nude scene marks a major milestone within the MCU.
“You do realize you are the first woman to show your butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?” Hudson asked — to audience cheers.
“I didn’t know it at the time,” Hahn replied. “But also to know that it’s behind Thor is pretty great. Thor, me — just our butts encased in gold,” she joked, referencing the fact that actor Chris Hemsworth showed his derrière in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder.
“We got you something to commemorate that moment,” Hudson said with a smile.
Hahn was then presented with a black and glittery-purple plaque that read, “First Woman to Show Her Butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
“It’s like I walked on the moon!” exclaimed a delighted Hahn. “This is the best! I can quit now.”
Hahn also revealed that she consulted with a real-life witch in order to prepare for her role in Agatha.
“Well, you know I think people have preconceived notions sometimes about witches [and] the idea of witchcraft,” the WandVision star told Hudson.
Hahn then shared she met with the woman via Zoom on a weekly basis, adding “she really just grounded it in just trusting your intuition as being, like, a huge part of being a witch to her.”

The Glass Onion actress also discussed the surreal nature of starring in one of the most popular show’s of the season.
“I mean the whole thing is a crazy dream,” she said. “And to be with this cast … you never know how anything is going to be received, but we certainly knew that something special was happening while we were making it.”
