Gina Carano became known around the world when she appeared in The Mandalorian alongside Pedro Pascal. And while that wasn’t her first gig, the role was crafted to fit her as an actress, and in light of that fact, it enabled her to reach stardom fairly quickly. But, as quickly as she got there, she was catapulted from there in a similar fashion.
Namely, because the actress’s political and ideological beliefs did not align with Disney’s values, she was fired (more accurately, her contract was not renewed). This was primarily due to her anti-woke sentiments and opinions, but there were other contentious remarks as well, including very inappropriate Holocaust comparisons.
Her character was then removed from The Mandalorian, but Carano does not want to give up. No. Not only has she been firing at Disney whenever she can (even when it does not have anything to do with her, which annoyed a lot of fans), she also sued Disney and she seemingly has help from Elon Musk. This fact has given rise to a (not so) crazy conspiracy theory that we are going to present to you here!
To be honest, the Carano v. Disney feud has been among the fiercest and most furious ones on the scene in recent memory. Disney has largely responded in a polite manner, but Carano hasn’t been holding back, and the situation has garnered a lot of attention from the public. Naturally, as we’ve previously stated, Carano’s rage ended up in court and while we’re awaiting a verdict (or settlement) there, the situation on social media is heating up.
Gina Carano’s (unnecessary) outbursts are too many to list here, so if you want to know more, just check out our earlier articles on each individual situation. What interests us here is the fact that Elon Musk is supposedly helping her.
Namely, is it known that Musk is an “opponent” of Disney or, to be more precise, he is an opponent of the “woke virus,” and many people blame Disney for “spreading” that “virus.” It is also known that Musk has a lot of money, and he bought off Twitter recently and started a series of changes on the social media platform. Based on this, a (not so) crazy conspiracy theory appeared on Instagram, which states the following:
Elon Musk is funding Gina Carano’s lawsuit and will go as far as needed to win or at least do some serious damage to Disney. Why? His goal is to buy out Disney and become the owner of the company, which means that he will be able to influence the industry. How does the trial help there?
What happens if they go to trial? Well, then they have to release all of these documents & everything becomes public record that they don’t wanna talk about. And what happens to the stock price? It just keeps going down. Maybe to a point where Elon Musk could afford to buy it for pretty penny.
As you can see, this is somewhat far-fetched and crazy, but it is just crazy enough to be true. Could there be a bigger conspiracy there, and is Gina Carano just a puppet on a string? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
