Agatha All Along premiered its first two episodes, and early reactions from fans have been positive, as the show clearly caters to a specific audience. Agatha is once again free to explore the world, but with a twist—she’s powerless and on a quest to regain her strength.
To do so, Agatha must navigate the Witches Road with a makeshift coven and a seemingly powerless “Teen.” Speculation about this “Teen” suggests that his role in Agatha’s life may be more significant than we initially realize.
Currently, “The Teen” is 95% likely to be Billy Kaplan, also known as Billy Maximoff or Wiccan from the comics. However, there’s a darker fan theory that suggests the remaining 5% possibility: what if the Teen is actually a son that Agatha Harkness sacrificed?
A fan under the username ken shared this intriguing theory on X, which we’ve also covered, albeit with a few more details in our take.
And what if agatha did in fact sacrifice her child to get the darkhold and the only thing she has of him is his hair inside her pendant then WHAT?????!!!! #AgathaAllAlong pic.twitter.com/GKGERRh5W9

What if “The Teen” is actually Agatha’s son, Nicholas Scratch? In the first episode, Agatha is seen entering a children’s bedroom with a plaque bearing that name. The room has an occult and goth vibe, which is also reflected in the Teen’s appearance in the first two episodes.
What if, in the past, the Teen was indeed Nicholas Scratch, and Agatha sacrificed him at the Witches Road to gain access to the Darkhold?
There’s also the twist involving Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vidal. The actress hinted at a complicated history between the two, suggesting romantic undertones. It’s possible that Rio and Agatha were once lovers, and their relationship deteriorated when Agatha sacrificed their son for greater power.
While it seems nearly confirmed that the Teen is Billy, you never know with Agatha. What are your thoughts? Share them in the comments below!
