Apparently everybody wants “Nobody Wants This.” The Kristen Bell/Adam Brody comedy from creator Erin Foster has knocked out “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” to become the No. 1 English TV program on Netflix for the week of Sept. 13, with 15.9 million views in its second week. “Monsters” continues to be a monster, however, as its 13.1 million views was still good enough to slide into the No. 2 slot.
“Nobody Wants This” debuted last week at No. 2 with 10.3 million views in its first four days of streaming. For “Monsters,” the show continues to dominate the Netflix chart, having spent the previous two weeks at No. 1 (including 19.5 million views last week).
Debuting at No. 3 on the English chart was Season 7 of “Love Is Blind,” coming in with 5.2 million views, while the Season 3 return of coming-of-age drama “Heartstopper” clocked in at No. 4 with 4.5 million views.
Meanwhile, chugging along at an impressive pace is the Nicole Kidman limited series “The Perfect Couple,” on its fifth week on the chart. The Susanne Bier limited series, which also stars Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson and Dakota Fanning, was at No. 5 with 3.8 million views.
Docuseries “Mr. McMahon,” the limited series about former WWE CEO Vince McMahon, landed at No. 6 in its second week on the English TV list (with 3.4 million views, down from 4.9 million viewers in its first five days on Netflix). Also, among Netflix originals, “Emily in Paris” Season 4 kept in the top 10 for its eighth week on the chart, with 2.6 million views.
Elsewhere, on the non-English films list, Spain’s dystopian thriller “The Platform 2” debuted at No. 1 with 19.4 million views, helping original “The Platform” return to the list at No. 5 (3.7 million views). On the English films List, Tim Burton’s “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” took No. 1 (7.1 million views).
