The truth behind the photos of Amber Heard being beaten that she used against Johnny Depp in court. Have we been protecting the wrong person all along?

THE ACTRESS CLAIMS TO HAVE BEEN A VICTIM OF VIOLENCE BY JOHNNY DEPP WITH FALSE EVIDENCE.

The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is about to end. After more than a month of legal and public wrangling, in which many secrets of the former couple came to light, the jury is about to make a decision.

This week, photos of the Aquaman actress’ defense were released, in which she could be seen with a bruised face. In addition, Raquel Pennington, a former friend of the movie star, testified that she had seen her with bruises and cuts on her face, the result of an alleged fight with the actor.

Following this, Johnny Depp testified and assured that he never hit her, nor any other woman, and that on the contrary he was the one who suffered violence from her.

But that wasn’t all. A metadata expert, Norbert ‘Bryan’ Neumeister, took the stand and analysed the images presented by Amber ‘s defence . He said he subjected them to an Exif data analysis and the result showed that they had not been taken with an iPhone as claimed and had been rendered by an editing programme.

The expert also analysed an alleged bruise that Johnny Depp ‘s ex-wife had on her arm and said that the files “do not match from a forensic point of view. They all had to go through some kind of transformation to change size.”

In addition, to end his revealing statement he said: “There was no way that any forensic expert could validate these photos.” After the expert’s statement, Camille Vasquez, the actor’s lawyer, questioned Amber Heard about the matter and made her step on the “stick” again.

In one of the photos, the actress can be seen looking redder and more “swollen” than in the other, despite being taken at the same time. When the lawyer questioned this and pointed out that one had more retouching than the other, the actress assured that it was because they had been taken with different lighting, one with light and one without.

“However, the light is on in both pictures,” Camille replied, demonstrating the light reflections in them and making it clear that Heard was lying. “Bathroom light,” she replied, trying to avoid confirming whether or not she had retouched the images.
