As the title suggests, the prequel will explore the first day of the invasion as the aliens begin attacking humans. This day is seen at the beginning of A Quiet Place 2 through the Abbott family, but A Quiet Place: Day One will focus on new characters with a bigger scale as the invasion hits New York City.
As a prequel, it will likely address some lingering questions of the franchise, most of which revolve around the aliens.
