Kate Winslet joined a bevy of A-list guests on Saturday for the 2024 History Talks event in Los Angeles. The Oscar-winning actress posed on the red carpet for photos prior to the event, along with such guests as Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria and more.

For her red carpet appearance, Winslet wore a white oversize suit with black elements, offering a modern twist on the classic black-and-white color combination. The “Lee” star’s ensemble included billowing trousers and a single-breasted blazer.

The blazer had long sleeves, slightly rolled up near Winslet’s elbow. She paired her crisp white blazer and trousers with a black top and coordinated it with black, pointed-toe shoes.

Winslet accessorized her look with a delicate silver necklace and bold hoop earrings. The Lancôme brand ambassador‘s makeup featured a clean look, with bold brows and eyes and a slight hint of a natural pink lip. Her blond tresses were styled in soft curls.

Winslet is no stranger to suited looks, and styled similar attire for her FYC event for the miniseries “The Regime” last June. For the event, Winslet opted for sleek, black skinny pants, which she paired with a boxy white blazer featuring sharp shoulders and lapels.

Similar to her black-and-white ensemble at Saturday’s History Talks event, Winslet paired her June suit with black pointed-toe heels. Although black-and-white power suits have been a recent favorite for Winslet, she also wore a gown by British designer Jenny Packham for the London premiere of “Lee” earlier this month.

For the biopic’s red carpet premiere on Sept. 3, Winslet chose a Jenny Packham gown with a plunging neckline and exaggerated shoulders. The dress showcased glittering embellishments in an ornate floral design on the bodice and had a formfitting silhouette.
