The Rock has teased signing a new deal with Disney, and wants to bring his brand to their parks and cruises.
The WWE legend signed a deal with the media giants earlier this year. He inked a deal for his production company, Seven Bucks Productions, to create movies for streaming and theatrical release for Disney.
However, The Rock clearly has much bigger ambitions. He Tweeted about his goals for the deal, which do not limit his influence to just films.
The Rock revealed that his goals are to influence a variety of Disney properties, including their theme parks and cruises. He wants his cheat meals served at Disney World and his gyms on Disney Cruises. The People’s Champion also snuck in a plug for his Teremana tequila.
However, he admits that the new Disney deal does not guarantee any of those things. They are simply goals for The Rock to aim for in the future, and he will put in the work to make them happen.
“Clearly I haven’t changed much from being this little bucked toothed, afro’d hair, punk kid who used to get mistaken all the time for a sweet, yet trouble making little girl. We signed a very cool @sevenbucksprod deal with @DisneyStudios which puts me one step closer to accomplishing the following… Rock’s Infamous Cheat Meals at @DisneyParks @teremana tequila to a Disney Dole Whip.”
“Build Rock’s Iron Paradise Gym on a @DisneyCruise – for passengers to work off all those glorious calories. All the above or none of the above may come true but our new deal guarantees we get to work hard and have fun delivering entertainment for people around the world. Back to work. More to come.”
