The third episode of ‘Agatha All Along’ was recently released, revealing several shocking moments and heartbreaking farewells for fans as they had to say goodbye to a beloved character.
In this episode, we discovered that Agatha likely sacrificed her son to acquire the Darkhold, that Mephisto is indeed part of the MCU, and that Agatha likely knows Teen’s true identity but has chosen to keep it hidden for understandable reasons.
In a truly heartbreaking moment for the show, the MCU bids farewell (at least for now) to Debra Jo Rupp’s character, Sharon Hart. Sharon was first introduced in ‘WandaVision,’ where she married Vision’s boss by the end of the series.
At the beginning of ‘Agatha All Along,’ Sharon is depicted as a widow feeling quite lonely, which prompts her to let Agatha recruit her into her coven, likely unaware that she is the Green Witch Agatha desperately needs.
Initially, Sharon believes she’s in for a fun night with the ladies, but as she realizes that the Witches Road is genuinely real and supernatural, panic sets in, leading her to stray from the path.
Sharon’s brush with death occurs early in the episode when she narrowly escapes being consumed by magical quicksand. As the first trial commences, she expresses excitement over finally engaging in some fun activities. However, the wine the coven drinks in the “fancy house” turns out to be poisoned with Alewife’s Revenge, a substance that induces delirium, hallucinations, loss of motor function, and ultimately death.
Sharon becomes the first victim of the poison, her face swelling up, and she loses consciousness quickly. For the remainder of the episode, she lies in a faux coma while the rest of the coven struggles to create the antidote amidst their own hallucinations tied to their pasts.
Jennifer Kale successfully concocts the antidote, but Sharon is the last to receive it while still in her comatose state, leading fans to hope she will survive.
After the house where the first trial unfolds begins to flood, the coven must escape through the oven. Sharon is carried through, and thankfully, the entire group makes it back onto the Witches Road.
Agatha remarks on their good fortune, emphasizing that they all made it out alive, when Teen interjects, saying, “Not everybody.” The camera then reveals a very dead and stiff body belonging to Mrs. Hart.
Following the episode’s airing, the hashtag #Sharon began trending on X, as fans mourned the loss of this character so soon.

She just wanted to be included 😭

I was not expecting her to die, we’re only three episodes in. Although, unfortunately, it does make sense to kill off the only member of the coven without powers since we know that Rio is the real earth witch anyway. So, assuming she shows up in episode 4, it’ll make sense.

BRING HER BACK 😭

I like the idea that the things she wanted more than anything were to feel included one last time, have some wine and then be with her husband and the Road gave her all of those.
I still feel she’s Rio in disguise and now that she’s ‘returned to the Earth’, Rio will reemerge.

The coven now finds itself without a green witch once again, but it seems likely that Mrs. Hart will be replaced by Rio Vidal, who has also been confirmed as a green witch in the show. This could clarify why the promos featured Rio on the Witches Road, even though she wasn’t present during the ritual.
