Kay Vess from Star Wars Outlaws is being criticized for being an ugly character by some of the toxic fans of the game.
Star Wars Outlaws was released a few days back on August 30, 2024, and it opened to an average response from players from all around the world. Fans are believing the game to be an average experience with some moments of fun.
The game has been subjected to several criticisms since then, including a fake Metacritic score. However, it now seems like people are just bashing the game for no valid reason anymore.

The criticism for the game has found its way into the characterisation of its protagonist, Kay Vess, portrayed by seasoned actor Humberly González’s. She is being called one of the most ugly characters in the game.
Many fans opposed the allegation by bringing to light the forced nature of this criticism, as Kay Vess’ journey is not that underwhelming and she grows into one of the most beautiful characters in the game.
One Twitter user shared their opinion on the matter by helping users see beyond the criticism faced by the character.

Many other people were also of the same opinion and backed the statement by calling the criticism, baseless and unnecessary.

Star Wars Outlaws is currently getting more hate than it actually deserves by some toxic fans believing the game to not be up to the mark. They claim that the game has failed to match the expectations raised by it in the months following its release.
The Game Might Not Be The Best, But It’s Okay

People need to steer clear of some of the toxic fans who refuse to look beyond the generic opinion about the game, as they are shrouded by their egos of always being right. This is nothing short of a half cooked opinion about the game that does not need to be taken more seriously.
Star Wars Outlaws has only been out for a couple of days; it deserves to be given some more time before forming a definitive opinion about it. It is the first open-world Star Wars game that draws heavy inspiration from the original films directed by George Lucas.
The game sure is shaping up to be an average title, as not every other game could become a masterpiece. There needs to be respect for some of the average titles out there as well.
Nevertheless, it is best to steer clear of the toxic fans, whose only motive is to spread hate through their actions, as they fail to look beyond their shallow opinions about the game. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below.
