Superstar singer and very proud mom Britney Spears shared a super-sweet message today celebrating her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. This month, both of her children commemorated their birthdays and the singer took a moment today to give them a shoutout. Spears shares her sons with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, and E! News reports that Sean celebrated his 19th birthday on September 14 and his brother Jayden turned 18 on September 12.
“This month is my boys’ birthdays,” she wrote on Instagram on September 16. The message came alongside throwback snapshots of Spears and her sons when they were still toddlers. “Happy Birthday babies and I hope you get all your wishes and more !!!”

Jayden and Sean live in Hawaii with their father, and Spears currently lives in Los Angeles (though there was a rumor that she wanted to relocate to Boston). Being in Hawaii was one way that the boys could “get away from the L.A. microscope,” Federline’s lawyer previously shared, adding that the kids—now adults—still “have a desire” to stay connected with Spears. During an appearance in an ITV documentary back in 2022, Jayden explained that living with his father offers a “safe place” to “process all the emotional trauma” that he and his brother faced as children growing up in the spotlight.

“We’ve both been through so much pressure in the past,” he said at the time, adding that he’s open to mend the relationship with his mother. “I—100 percent—think it can be fixed, but I think it’s just going to take a lot of time and effort.”
