Agatha All Along is the latest MCU series spinning off from the hit show WandaVision. The series has changed its name so many times before the current one and we’re honestly surprised that it managed to stick to this one until the premiere. Be that as it may, the series finally premiered on Disney+ on September 18, 2024, with two episodes, while the remaining seven episodes will be released weekly until November 6, concluding the series.
We already know that Kathryn Hahn, who is reprising her role from WandaVision, will dominate the series as Agatha Harkness, but we will undoubtedly see several other noteworthy MCU characters, some of which we have discussed in other rumors-focused reports. But, while we are slowly discovering the mysteries of Agatha’s world, the fans – especially after the first episodes – are wondering about Scarlet Witch.
The series has seemingly confirmed that Wanda is “really most sincerely dead,” but Agnes said that you “never know” with Wanda. This, of course, fueled more rumors about Wanda’s potential return and showrunner Jac Schaeffer recently commented on that.
If you remember our earlier report, Elizabeth Olsen commented on her potential MCU return via her Jimmy Kimmel appearance, saying the following:
“It’s a character I love going back to when there’s a way to use her well and I think I’ve been lucky when I started I was used well… and they kind of didn’t know what to do with me for a second there! If there’s a good way to use her, I’m always happy to come back.”
This certainly implies that the doors are still open, and we’ve seen numerous rumors about a solo Scarlet Witch movie being in the works, which further implies that Marvel has not forgotten Wanda and that they are working on something.
In the meantime, her WandaVision co-star is back and the fans are hoping that we might see Wanda back in the series. Showrunner Jac Schaeffer commented on that recently, and she said:
“I am keeping such a good poker face. What I will say is like, I really like how your mind works. That’s my response to that theory. (…) This is Agatha Harkness’s show. So that is what I will say is, Agatha is a lady who takes center stage.”

This definitely opens up a lot of possibilities and with everything going on, a cameo from Wanda might not be as surprising as some people might think. Some would even argue that it is necessary, based on everything, but after this cryptic answer, we can only wait and see what happens, but hope is still alive.
