The City of Atmore and Main Street Atmore announced that American Idol runner-up Will Moseley will perform live during Main Street Atmore’s First Thursday event.

The concert is free of charge and will take place in Atmore’s entertainment district at Boxcar Willie, located at 207 West Ridgeley Street.

Attendees can look forward to Moseley performing a mix of his original songs, “Good Book Bad” and “Gone For Good,” and popular covers, such as Chris Stapleton’s “Whiskey and You,” that showcases his remarkable vocal range and artistry.

“We are beyond excited to have Will Moseley perform in our great city,” Mayor Jim Staff said. “His talent and energy will surely make for a spectacular evening that will draw music lovers from all around. We invite everyone for a fun night.”

First Thursday is a monthly celebration that brings together residents and visitors for late-night shopping, live music, local vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.

Shopping will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Moseley will take the stage immediately afterward.

“We are thrilled to announce that American Idol runner-up Will Moseley will be performing during our August First Thursday event,” Main Street Atmore Executive Director Shinora Redmond said. “This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an incredible musical performance and explore Atmore’s vibrant downtown shops and entertainment district. We can’t wait to see everyone there for an unforgettable performance.”
