Agatha All Along premiered over two weeks ago with its first two episodes. While critics offered mixed reviews, audience feedback has been positive, and the show currently holds a “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Last week, the show experienced a remarkable surge in viewership, according to Luminate data from Variety.
Data from September 20 to 26 revealed that Agatha All Along not only surpassed its initial viewership numbers but also saw a significant increase in “minutes watched.” Contrary to expectations, the show achieved an impressive 304.7 million minutes of streaming in the past week, reflecting a remarkable 321% rise.
Additionally, it became the #1 streamed show on Disney+ in the US market.
However, the numbers released for September 27 to October 3 tell a different story. According to the latest data, the show lost 33% of its “minutes watched,” now standing at 204 million minutes streamed.
The show barely managed to retain its spot in the top 10. The streaming data indicates that Nobody Wants This (Netflix) led with 1.7 billion views and an astounding 1986% increase in minutes watched, while Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (Netflix) experienced a 36% decline despite also reaching 1.7 billion views.
Other notable shows include Mr. McMahon (Netflix) with a 246% increase and Tulsa King (Paramount+) showing a 10% rise in viewership.

The numbers may not be promising, but there’s no need for concern, as few expected Agatha All Along to become a global sensation given its themes and focus on a C-list character.
On a brighter note, Marvel Studios executive Brad Winderbaum recently confirmed that the show boasts the highest continuation rate among all Marvel series. This rate measures how many viewers returned after the initial premiere.
He also noted that it is the most affordable production to date, meaning Disney won’t incur significant losses.
