US rapper Xzibit opened up about his relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, after a shocking video surfaced of Diddy beating up his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
The rap star, 49, appeared on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday and was asked by Kyle Sandilands if he ever saw any concerning behaviour when associating with Diddy.
‘With all this Diddy s**t that is going on, I do remember you saying you saw some “whack s**t”. What did you see there?’ Kyle asked him.
‘I really didn’t see or experience anything, but I think the insinuation of what was happening played out in the public,’ Xzibit began.
‘I don’t have much to comment about it but I do stand strongly against domestic violence and crimes against women. I think that is something which is horrible.’

Xzibit – who was born Alvin Joiner – added he didn’t want to get into speculation or gossip so he would end the conversation there.
‘If there were some people who were hurt or injured in this, then I stand with the victims,’ he added.
The Detroit-born hip hop artist will be performing in Australia next month as part of the 3:Twenty tour, alongside rap icons D12 and Obie Trice.
Earlier this week, hip hop star Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs broke his silence after a shocking video of him beating up his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016 emerged.
The 54-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Sunday morning to apologise, saying: ‘I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses.’
Looking into the camera, Diddy said: ‘So difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you got to do that. I was f***ed up.
‘I mean I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses, my behaviour in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, I’m disgusted.

‘I was disgusted then when I did it, I am disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab.’
Sources said Diddy went to rehab following the 2016 incident and continues to seek both therapy and spiritual work.
The shocking surveillance footage of Diddy violently attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 emerged this week.
The video, obtained by CNN, shows the rapper shirtless with a towel wrapped around his waist, chasing Cassie down the hall at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

As she tried to get into an elevator, he grabbed her by the back of the head and slammed her to the ground.
He then kicked her as she lay on the floor motionless, before grabbing the two designer bags she’d tried to escape with.
Diddy stood over her, kicked her again, and then dragged her back to their room by the hoodie.
Cassie claimed in a since-settled lawsuit that Diddy had paid the same hotel thousands of dollars for the footage after the attack.
