Insider Reports Reveal ‘Agatha All Along’ is on the Brink of Getting a Season 2 Renewal

“Agatha All Along” recently aired its final two episodes, wrapping up character arcs while hinting at future storylines. The show was originally planned as a miniseries, like other MCU Disney+ series, but has been a success. Marvel’s Head of TV and Streaming, Brad Winderbaum confirmed he is excited to tell more stories from WestView.

As awards season approaches, the show has received several nominations, showing it was well-received by both fans and critics. The success of the show has sparked excitement for more “Agatha All Along” content, especially since the finale hinted at future stories for characters like Agatha (played by Hahn), Billy (played by Locke), and Lady Death (played by Plaza).

Industry insider Daniel Richtman has said in his paid newsletter that while the show hasn’t been officially renewed for a second season yet, it’s very close to being renewed.

Although Disney+ usually makes limited series, shows like “Loki,” “X-Men ’97,” and “What If…?” got multiple seasons. “Daredevil: Born Again” was also renewed for a second season before its first season even aired, so there’s hope for more!

There have also been several rumors and hints from the studio about the show getting a second season. The official Marvel Studios account has even been hiding replies that mention the show will return for season 2.

Disney+ has submitted “Agatha All Along” in the comedy category for upcoming awards like the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and Emmys, instead of as a “limited series.” This could mean the show isn’t over yet, and the positive fan response may have led the studio to rethink its plans.
