Lilli Doll, a musical theatre student with a passion for pop rock, took The Voice season 27 stage with a bold performance of Blondie’s Heart of Glass. Watch her performance below.

How Lilli Doll Won Over the Audience but Not the Coaches

Lilli, who recently played Maureen in Rent and runs her own business, The Drippie Hippie, has been honing her artistry for years. Her audition showcased her powerful vocals, creative delivery, and undeniable star quality.

Yet, despite her standout performance, the Coaches remained unmoved. Fans, however, did not.

“She sounded great. And sounded even better in a second listen. Definitely better than some of the others. She should have got a chair turn,” one viewer wrote. Another added, “She was great!! She doesn’t need those judges/coaches anyway. She has her own style and voice. I loved her performance.”

Fans React: “How Did No One Turn for Her?”

The comment section quickly filled with disbelief and support for Lilli. “A better vocal than a couple of the four-chair turns I’ve seen this season,” one person pointed out, while another declared, “She actually sang this very well.”

Others argued that the decision was a mistake. “How did no one turn for her?! That was a very impressive performance! She has a very unique voice,” one fan wrote. Some even suggested the judges simply weren’t ready for her talent: “She was just too cool—they couldn’t handle it.”

While Lilli may not have secured a spot on a team, her audition left a lasting impression. Many are already hoping she’ll return for another shot. “She needs to come back,” one fan urged. Another agreed: “She deserves better than The Voice.”
