Police in Kentucky have now launched an urgent appeal for help, warning that concern for her safety is growing with each passing day.
The frantic missing persons hunt has now entered its second week.
Foust hasnât been seen since Monday, April 27, said the Covington Police Department (CPD) in an Instagram post.
âConcerns for their safety have arisen, and your input could be crucial,â wrote the CPD.

She is seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and T-shirt, loose-fitting patterned pants, black sneakers and a yellow backpack.
According to a Facebook post shared by friend Charlie King, Foust was last seen heading to NKU from Over the Rhine, Cincinnati, at around 5:30 p.m. local time on Monday and ânever made it to class.â
Foustâs car was reportedly found a block from their apartment in Latonia, while her bag was discovered at NKU.
Her cellphone was allegedly located by police at their apartment â raising even more questions over what happened in the crucial hours after she was last seen.
Authorities, however, have not confirmed these claims.
As Foust remains missing, police released chilling new surveillance images showing the student walking alone.
In the footage, she is seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and T-shirt, loose-fitting patterned pants, black sneakers and a yellow backpack.
This is the last known sighting of her alive.
âWe are still actively searching for the missing person, Murry (Alexis) Foust,â said the CPD.
âThese photos are from the most recent surveillance footage we have found. They were last seen in the area of the Latonia neighborhood of Covington.â
Eve Miller, a friend of Foustâs, said those involved in the search are still clinging to hope that the missing student will be found safely.
âThe people Iâm connected with who are involved in the search are like hopeful,â Miller said.
âThey think that they can be found, something can be found that can lead to an answer and a safe resolution.â
She also made a direct appeal to the public as concern continues to grow.
âI think itâs really important for the community to look for someone when theyâre missing,â Miller said.
âWe donât know what happened. They could be in danger.â
Corey Best, chief of communications at NKU, said in a statement to Fox 19, âNorthern Kentucky University is aware that one of our students, Alexis âMurryâ Foust, has been reported missing.â
âOur thoughts are with their family, friends and all those impacted. The Covington Police Department is leading the investigation, and we are fully cooperating and supporting their efforts.
âAnyone with information is encouraged to contact Covington Police.â
Foust is described as five feet and seven inches tall, with brown eyes and dyed-black, shoulder-length hair.
She has some tattoos, including a âgeometric striped pattern on their elbow, a ram skull on their upper arm and a depiction of a crucified Jesus Christ on one of their shins,â according to the post.
Inside the university, concern has spread through the close-knit arts community, where staff say the disappearance has hit especially hard.
Gil Stengel, an NKU professor, described the atmosphere among staff and students.
âThe art department, especially the ceramics program people, are family. So yeah, weâre out looking for her,â Stengel said.
Meanwhile, the search for Foust has become increasingly visible on campus, with WCPO reporting that posters have been put up inside the NKU Landrum Academic Center as students and staff continue to rally for answers.
Police are now urging the public to come forward with any possible information as the search intensifies.
The CPD is asking anyone with information about Foustâs whereabouts to call 911 or 859-292-2234.
