The Lincoln Lawyer is officially returning to Netflix in early 2026. Following a nail-biting Season 3 finale, Mickey Haller is back, but this time, heâs no longer a lawyer. Heâs the defendant. From the confirmed February release date to all the new first-look images, hereâs your big update on the future of The Lincoln Lawyer.
Netflix has officially confirmed that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will premiere on February 5, 2026. This confirms our prior reporting that the series was aiming for an early 2026 return. The new season will consist of 10 episodes.Â
If you watched the finale of Season 3, you know the stakes have never been higher. Season 4 adapts Michael Connellyâs sixth book in the series, The Law of Innocence.
In a statement today, co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said:
âWe are absolutely thrilled to share Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer with the world. Following the incredibly suspenseful and emotional climax of Season 3, this new chapter confronts Mickey Haller with the toughest and most personal challenge of his life, and the biggest roller coaster weâve ever taken our audience on. The stakes have never been higher, because this time Mickey is the client. With his very life and reputation on the line, heâll need the strength and support of his entire team, and his entire family, to fight for his future.
Inspired by Michael Connellyâs bestselling novel The Law of Innocence, the season is packed with his signature twists, along with the unique blend of suspense, humor and heart our fans love, as every character must confront not only Mickeyâs predicament but their own personal challenges along the way.
It was a joy bringing this season to life, and we cannot wait for the audience to dive in!â
While we wonât go into detail here, you can find our full preview for The Lincoln Lawyer S4 here, as a reminder, letâs quickly run through some of the biggest news for season 4:
Returning cast members include your favorites, including Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, Angus Sampson as Cisco, Krista Warner as Hayley Haller, and Elliott Gould as David âLegalâ Siegel. Better still, Neve Campbell is confirmed as a main series regular for season 4, meaning we wonât see long stretches without her throughout the new batch of episodes.
Plenty of fresh faces, too! New cast additions include Cobie Smulders, known for How I Met Your Mother and The Avengers. while Constance Zimmer steps in as Dana Berg, the ruthless prosecutor nicknamed âDeath Row Danaâ and a former colleague of Maggieâs who becomes Mickeyâs fiercest courtroom opponent. Sasha Alexander plays Dawn Ruth, an intimidating FBI agent unafraid to pressure Mickey to abandon his investigation, and Kyle Richards appears as Celeste Baker, a Beverly Hills socialite who hires Lorna to handle her divorce.
Jason OâMara portrays Jack Gilroy, an orthopedic surgeon and Maggieâs new boyfriend, with Emmanuelle Chriqui as Jeanine Ferrigno, a woman tied to a local gangster who carries vital information for Mickey. Rounding out the lineup, Scott Lawrence takes on the role of Judge Stone, a prickly yet fair presence on the bench, and Jason Butler Harner plays Detective Drucker, a robbery-homicide detective who becomes a determined adversary.
Warning: The following section contains spoilers. Proceed with caution!
Season 3 (based on The Gods of Guilt) saw Mickey defending Julian La Cosse, who was wrongfully accused of murdering Gloria Dayton, aka Glory Days. Mickey uncovered a massive corruption conspiracy involving DEA Agent James De Marco and investigator Neil Bishop. While Mickey won the case (and a massive settlement for Julian), the victory was bittersweet. In the final moments, while driving his signature Lincoln, Mickey was pulled over by police who found the body of Sam Scales in his trunk. Season 4 will answer the biggest question of all: Who framed Mickey Haller?Filming on the new season kicked off in February of this year and wrapped by the Summer. Weâve also had episode titles previewing whatâs to come.
And now, letâs wrap up with more of those first-look images:
