Emily in Paris is back, sort of. This season, Emily traded in the City of Lights for the City of Love, following her heart to Rome and also setting up a new Agence Grateau office there – albeit, very briefly. Thankfully, our fave on-screen influencer and fashion icon did return to her beloved Paris, completing the season back where it all began… and with an invitation to Greece.
While Emily in Paris season five has only just landed on Netflix, some viewers (read: us) have already binged all 10 episodes. Oops. That said, we’re now wondering if – and, more importantly, when – the next season of Emily in Paris will debut. Will there be an Emily in Paris season six?
Netflix has yet to officially confirm if there will be a sixth season of Emily in Paris. Or should we say, Emily in Greece?

A lack of official word from Netflix on the future of Emily in Paris isn’t cause for panic just yet, however. Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos has seemingly already teased that Emily’s adventures are not over – he included the hit series in his roundup of returning series for 2026. Phew!
Who will be in Emily in Paris season six?
Again, despite no word of a season six, and based on the events of season five, there are a handful of staple characters likely set to reprise their roles. Of course, Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper will make a return – she’s the star of the show, after all. Other big names include Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie) and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu Young (Sylvie). Plus, Agence Grateau day one-ers and Emily’s cheeky sidekicks, Luc (Bruno Gouery) and Julian (Samuel Arnold).
And, because season five introduced new faces like Minnie Driver and Bryan Greenberg, here’s hoping series six will do the same. Oh, and can we start a petition to bring back Camille, please?

Where will Emily in Paris season six be filmed?
Following Emily’s invitation, we can only assume that Greece is on the cards. And honestly, we are so here for an island-hopping adventure. However, alongside the Greek backdrop, there will likely still be scenes filmed in Paris and Rome. Remember, the show is called Emily in Paris, and there are also roots firmly established in the Italian city, too.
What is the plot of Emily in Paris season six?
So, there was a lot to unpack in season five. Not to mention many loose ends that were left undone – all of which make perfect plotlines for more episodes. As we know, Emily and Marcello (kind of) split (but not without Gabriel of all people encouraging her to give things another go). But at the same time, Emily wrestles with her feelings for Gabriel, her first Parisian love, where fans watch her um and ah about whether to spend the summer with him in Greece, where he’s working as a private chef on a super fancy yacht. If Emily joins him, could the pair pick up where they left off and try and make their relationship work for the third time?

Elsewhere, Mindy and Alfie enjoyed a brief and unexpected romance during season five, but ultimately called it a day when Nicolas returned and proposed to his ex. However, when Alfie tries to convince Mindy that she’s making a mistake, a real love triangle (read: pentagon) kicks off. Mindy asks Emily if she still has feelings for Alfie, to which she doesn’t say ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ So, with Gabriel pining over Emily, but Emily still potentially having feelings for Marcello and Alfie (all while Alfie is hung up on Mindy, who may get back with her ex), it makes for some *very* messy love lives. If you ask us, season six can’t come quicker!
