Episode Title Breakdowns
Call Waiting
This could possibly be the first episode of the third season, and the title is evidently a throwback to the start of The Night Agent when Peter Sutherlandās job was to sit and wait for phone calls from Night Agents in desperate need of help. Ironically, his first phone call triggered a chain of events that would eventually see him become a Night Agent himself.
At the start of the second season, Peter was forced to phone the emergency line; however, in the third season, Peter will be deep undercover in Monroeās network, and his mission is a complete secret, with only two people, Catherine and Mosley, who know of his mission. So, by Call Waiting, we expect to see Peter hard at work undercover.

Dark Matters
This could simply refer to shady dealings that Peter will be privy to while working for Monroe. With a president in Monroeās pocket, Monroe effectively becomes the most powerful man in the world, allowing him to leverage his influence to secure lucrative government contracts.
However, if we are to put our tin hats on, it could also relate to a scientific breakthrough that threatens national security and, in the wrong hands, could provide a foreign nation with a significant advantage over the USA. Perhaps Peter is put into a situation where he needs to either extract or is asked to assassinate the person responsible for such a breakthrough, completely risking his cover.

Lockstep Mesquite
Most of the world will have seen āLockstepā in action as it is a style of marching emulated by most of the worldās military, where each person marches as close as possible to the one in front. However, the term can be used as a way to describe conformity, ensuring discipline or lack of individual agency. This may be in reference to Peterās profession, and the nature of his position as a Night Agent deep undercover, and he cannot react with the agency or risk exposing his cover.
Mesquite could be referring to the names of towns in Texas and Nevada. From this, we can infer that a military operation may be imminent in one of these towns, or that an impending disaster, of which Peter is aware, cannot be prevented, forcing him to maintain his cover. This suggests that while deep undercover, he lacks the flexibility to improvise.
Murky Waters
Depending on his position within Monroeās network, Peter will likely be privy to some extremely sensitive conversations and meetings, which could not only impact national security but also the lives of innocent people. However, in order to earn the trust of Monroe and those around him, how far will Peter have to go? Is Peter willing to sacrifice the lives of innocent people if, in the long run, it means taking down a national security threat like Monroe for good?
In this episode, weāll likely see the darker side of what it means to be undercover and how it impacts Peter.
Once Upon a Time
The term āOnce Upon a Timeā is synonymous with fairy tales, but in this grounded thriller, we might see flashbacks to the early days of Peterās training as an FBI agent, and perhaps his struggles during training, such as bullying due to his father being known to the country as a traitor.
We also donāt know the full extent of Monroeās influence so perhaps some further background on him could be revealed, and perhaps he may even have ties to what happened with Peterās father?
Orion
It could be a name of an operative, or a nickname given to an important operation. It could also be related to technology, and if it has anything related to the āDark Mattersā episode, perhaps our prediction of a scientific breakthrough being related to this season isnāt that far-fetched after all.
Package Deal
This title could have a whole bunch of different meanings; it could be in reference to a dead drop or a payload, a deal between characters such as Peter and Monroe, especially if Rose is involved in the third season. It could even be in reference to Monroeās schemes and how getting into business with him is a package deal, meaning while there will be a financial or political gain from associating yourself with him, it also means you might be sacrificing a part of yourself, or forced to take part in illegal activities at his beck and call.
Razzmatazz
This could be an episode centered around Hagan, who, thanks to Monroeās political influence, is all but guaranteed the presidency. As a populist politician, the key to Haganās popularity is charisma and posing for the cameras. If Peter ends up working for Haganās security detail as theorised, then he will have to spend a lot of time protecting a standing US President who could ultimately do more harm than good.

The Isolation Play
Another episode may focus on Hagan, who is pursuing an isolationist agenda for the United States, which means weāll likely see the consequences of his actions, and perhaps the consequences of him being at the whims of Monroe. This could also be a reference to Peterās work undercover, and how isolated he feels when only Catherine and Mosley know heās a double agent.
Truth Be Told
This could be the episode with some major and shocking revelations. It could very well be the episode where Peterās cover is finally broken, and he finds himself in grave danger. Not to mention this could be the episode where Monroe is taken down, and his influence on American politics and swinging the US presidential election could be brought to light.
