A former FBI agent has revealed what he believes caused the altercation at Nancy Guthrie’s residence. An altercation is thought to have occurred at Nancy’s Tucson, Arizona, home on the night of her abduction, as blood belonging to the 84-year-old was discovered on her front porch. However, on Sunday, March 8, an ex-law enforcement official disclosed the reason the altercation may have tragically taken place.
Retired FBI Special Agent Maureen O’Connell presented her theory about Nancy’s abduction on Brian Entin Investigates, a YouTube program where NewsNation journalist Brian Entin explores various aspects of the case. This follows a mystery man’s claim that he “saw Nancy 5 days ago.”
Appearing alongside fellow retired FBI agent Jim Clemente, Maureen explained to Brian’s viewers, “‘The ‘altercation’ could have happened if she, obviously, had her hearing aids out and they were given her commands and she couldn’t respond because she didn’t know what they were saying…. it’s so sad.” It comes after Savannah issued a haunting prediction as the FBI released bone-chilling video of the suspect.

According to investigators, Nancy Guthrie relies on “pretty powerful hearing aids” that she likely took out at night.

Additionally, when she disappeared on February 1, her hearing aids were among the personal items, including her walker, medication and wallet, discovered untouched at her Tucson home, reports the Express US.
Maureen also explored how she believes Nancy was taken from the house, suggesting she could have been wrapped up “like a burrito.
“When I think of the evidence of her walking out of there, I doubt she walked out because there were no voids,” Maureen explained, speaking about the blood on Nancy’s front doorstep.
“So the blood, let’s say it concentrates here, but the sphere is here. It’s round. You would have a void here from one foot, or for another foot, or from something.
“There don’t appear to be any voids, which is another reason that mat, out the front, would have been so important to take.”
The expert continued, “But there didn’t appear to be any voids, so for me, she appeared to be wrapped up in something, and they’re carrying her out, and that’s why the shape of the blood droplets are all round, and the sphere is intact.”
At this point, Maureen theorized that the mother-of-three might have been “wrapped up a little bit like a burrito”.
She explained: “When [the abductors] got to the front door, they had to back up to open that big, huge oak door, then they had to open the gate-door, that wrought iron one, and then they’re trying to get down, and maybe her head just turned, and that’s when the blood happened.”
