Netflix has also picked up on the success of often toxic teen love triangles, and My Life With the Walter Boys, which is based on a novel of the same name written by Ali Novak and originally posted on Wattpad, proves that there is certainly an overwhelming interest there. While the first season of the teen drama series was released back in 2023, the story of Nikki Rodriguez’s Jackie, Noah LaLonde’s Cole, and Ashby Gentry’s Alex will pick right up where it left off when Season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys comes to Netflix on August 28. This will not be the end, though, because the series has already been renewed for a third season. Here is what we know about My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3.
What Will Happen in ‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ Season 3?

My Life With the Walter Boys might take a similar approach. It could easily be that the second season provides yet another cliffhanger or ends with a solid relationship. It won’t last long, though, because the following season is guaranteed to shake things up again. My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2 will bring more chaos than even the most ardent fans expected. In some ways, it could be said that Cole stole his brother’s girlfriend (even though it is certainly more complex than that), and, in return, Alex took over his brother’s prestigious position as high school hotshot. The strained relationship between Alex and Cole could create significant drama in the third season, since the Walters expect a stable and respectful environment within their family. As opposed to the first two seasons, Season 3 will not be based on one of Novak’s novels, so it is difficult to predict what will happen for sure.
However, showrunner Melanie Halsall told Tudum that she is obsessed with the teen stories the show has focused on so far, but apart from Jackie’s love drama, she aims to also dive deeper into intergenerational issues and explore the Walter family more. The parents in the Walters’ house, Katherine and George, have severe financial struggles, and Season 2 will explore the development of a glamorous campsite on their land to secure their future. In Season 3, this endeavor could potentially lead to disagreements between the couple, highlighting their relationship in greater depth.
When Will ‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ Season 3 Be Released?

Seeing that they are already actively working on it, a possible release date for My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3 is on everyone’s mind. While no specific date has been announced yet, the book-to-screen adaptation is expected to arrive sometime in 2026. This is a major upgrade to the previous release dates, because fans had to wait almost two years for the story to continue. There is little doubt that the time between the release of Season 2 and Season 3 will fly by. Until then, there are plenty of episodes to rewatch, Easter eggs to discover, and teams to join. After all, it is a question of Team Alex or Team Cole, and it’s not an easy decision.
My Life With the Walter Boys is available to stream on Netflix.
