Teacher who beamed in mugshot after affair with 17-year-old is still with husband almost a decade later

A Texas teacher whose smiling booking photo shot her to infamy after she was caught having an inappropriate relationship with a teen boy in 2017 is still with her husband, according to a report.

Disgraced ex-educator Sarah Fowlkes, now 35, and her husband Hayden’s marriage appeared to survive even as she faced a separate accusation of having an affair with a then-53-year-old colleague a decade ago, the Daily Mail reported Tuesday.

Fowlkes, who apparently has a new career that even earned her an award, faced criminal trouble nearly a decade ago when she was charged with sickeningly cozying up to a 17-year-old student, according to past news reports.

She ultimately entered a guilty plea in the case, and only spent 10 days in jail followed by a four-year probation, the Daily Mail reported.

While her sickening behavior with the teen led to her legal turmoil, she allegedly bragged about cheating on her husband with other men, according to police reports recently unearthed by the outlet.

A colleague and friend of Fowlkes claimed to police that Fowlkes was “very open about being unfaithful to her husband,” the police docs reportedly state.

The newly unearthed police reports also indicate that Fowlkes and the boy had pet names for themselves: hers was “Lil Mama” and his was “Big Daddy,” the Daily Mail reported.

Fowlkes is no longer in education and has instead entered the marketing industry, the Daily Mail reported.

Multiple efforts to reach Fowlkes and her husband Wednesday were not successful.
