FIRST LOOK: Lady Gaga stuns in her mysterious Wednesday Season 2 role — and fans say this single image changes EVERYTHING about the show’s dark new chapter. 🖤✨

A brand-new image has revealed Lady Gaga’s role in the upcoming Wednesday season 2, part 2. The first part of Netflix’s smash-hit comedy-horror Wednesday dropped on the streaming platform on August 6, 2025. The cast of Wednesday season 2 was revealed to include Gaga, but she did not appear in the first part of the season.

Wednesday season 2, part 2 is set to drop on Netflix on September 3, 2025, and Gaga’s character is expected to have a reasonably prominent role in the remainder of the season. A new image has revealed a first look at how the superstar singer will appear during her stint on the Emmy Award-winning series.

Via the Netflix X account, an image shows Gaga’s character Rosaline Rotwood dressed all in white, with long white hair, standing upright, and turned facing the camera. On her shoulder is what appears to be Thing, or another variation of Thing. The image is captioned: “A vision in venom.” Check out the image, and the post, below:

What This Means For Wednesday Season 2

Wednesday has always done a good job of introducing new characters and making them integral to the show, giving them personality and depth, such as Billie Piper’s Isadora Capri, who appeared in the first part of season 2. There is a good chance that Rosaline is going to be a character who will have a big impact on the conclusion of the latest installment.

Gaga won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for the song “Shallow” from the 2018 movie A Star is Born.

As one of many popstars who have transitioned to Hollywood, Gaga has several roles under her belt, but Rosaline looks to be the most interesting. Described as one of Nevermore’s most legendary teachers, she is bound to be a character with plenty of wisdom to offer Wednesday, but it’s unclear if she will be friend or foe.

Our Take On Gaga’s Wednesday Season 2 Role

Gaga certainly looks the part, and Rosaline has an aesthetic that fits well with the show: creepy and fantastical. She is also, notably, clad all in white, making for an interesting juxtaposition with Wednesday’s permanently black fashion sense. Not too much is known about the character right now, but Gaga’s presence suggests she’ll have an important role.

Wednesday season 3 has been renewed already, and, while it is unclear if Gaga is set to feature, the chances are high that her character could be involved. Rosaline could be the perfect tour de force of a character to rival Addams Family matriarch Morticia, and scenes between the two could be a highlight of Wednesday season 2.
