FIRST REACTIONS are in for Dune 3 — and everyone is saying the same thing. Early viewers are calling it bigger, darker, and far more intense than expected, with visuals that push the story to another level. But one detail from the trailer is what’s really getting people talking… 👀🔥

Dune 3 Trailer’s First Reactions Are All Saying the Same Thing

The first social media reactions to the upcoming Denis Villeneuve-directed Dune 3 trailer have been released. The response is overwhelmingly positive. Critics who attended an exclusive screening of the teaser are now sharing their thoughts online.

Dune: Part Three teaser gets first reactions ahead of release

In a special presentation, several entertainment journalists were given an early look at the Dune 3 teaser. The consensus coming from these early views is that Villeneuve has somehow topped his previous work in terms of scale and ambition. Germain Lussier shared his experience on X, writing: “Got to see the Dune: Part Three trailer in IMAX this afternoon. Didn’t think Denis Villeneuve could make something more epic. I was wrong.”

Jeff Sneider offered insight into the film’s positioning within Warner Bros’ awards strategy: “Saw the DUNE: PART THREE trailer. It’s great. This movie is going to be WB’s big awards movie next year, not DIGGER. Find out why in an upcoming edition of my newsletter.”

Brandon Davis kept his response brief but enthusiastic: “I’ve seen the Dune Part 3 teaser trailer. Big, big day tomorrow!” In addition, BLURAYANGEL released a video reaction with striking intensity: “That was crazy. What I experienced…I witnessed, you are not ready. You are not prepared for this epic conclusion.”

The Dune 3 trailer will receive its full public release tomorrow, Tuesday, March 18. Timothée Chalamet built anticipation on Monday by posting his character poster on social media, which quickly garnered over 600,000 likes in just two hours.

Warner Bros followed by releasing multiple character posters featuring returning cast members and confirming new additions. Isaach de Bankolé joins the franchise as Farok, while previously announced cast members Robert Pattinson and Anya Taylor-Joy also appear in their respective posters. The film adapts Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune Messiah, continuing the story of Paul Atreides after the events of Dune: Part Two.

The film, scheduled for release on December 18, will face off against Avengers: Doomsday at the box office.
