The show’s stars and creators break down all the many cliffhangers.
Netflix’s “Ginny & Georgia” closed out its third season with its trademark blend of chaos, charm and cliffhangers — but this time, the emotional wreckage feels more explosive than ever.
Between Georgia’s pregnancy reveal, courtroom manipulation, and fractured relationships, the finale felt like the top of a rollercoaster ride.
Now, fans are bracing for the inevitable drop, which will come in the show’s confirmed Season 4.
“I want people to finish the season and stand up as if they just got off a ride,” series creator Sarah Lampert tells TODAY.com. “I want them to sound like lunatics trying to explain what just happened.”
Mission accomplished.
Season 3 was a turning point for nearly every major character, especially Georgia and Ginny, who continue to orbit each other in a dangerous dance of love, loyalty and lies. As executive producer Sarah Glinski says, “Georgia isn’t able to do the hard thing, so Ginny does it for her. She doesn’t want to lose her mom.”
Here are the biggest unanswered questions “Ginny & Georgia” will have to tackle in Season 4 — and the messy dynamics that will drive the drama.

Who’s the Father of Georgia’s Baby?
The finale’s most jaw-dropping twist? Georgia seems to be pregnant. But with Paul out of the picture and Joe back in it, fans are left to speculate: Who’s the father?
Georgia manipulated Paul into standing by her in court by faking a pregnancy — only to later discover she may actually be expecting. Paul walked away, but Joe’s quiet, reemerging presence looms large.
“That stop at Blue Farm changed her life,” Lampert says of Georgia’s past with Joe. “She remembers everything.”
If the baby is Joe’s, Season 4 could reframe their connection — and potentially reignite a romance Georgia never fully let go.
Did Georgia Really Turn Herself In?
In one of the finale’s most ambiguous scenes, Georgia says she turned herself in for Tom’s death. But even that confession might be a lie.
“She says she turned herself in, but Gil questions it,” Glinski says. “Could she have lied? Ginny doesn’t know. That’s a very telling moment.”
Georgia has always existed in a moral gray zone, and this moment proves she’s still capable of manipulating even those closest to her. What’s real — and what’s just her version of the truth?
Can Ginny Live With Her Lie?
Ginny crosses a line when she convinces her younger brother, Austin, to lie in court to protect their mother. It works — Georgia walks free. But at what cost?
“She pulled a Georgia,” Antonia Gentry, who plays Ginny, tells TODAY.com. “She manipulated her little brother because she felt like she had no other option.”
The fallout could be devastating, especially for Austin, whose silence and erratic behavior hint at deeper trauma. Will he crack under the pressure? And what happens if he tells the truth?
Will Cynthia Strike Back?
Georgia may have thought she was doing Cynthia a favor by ending her husband’s suffering, but Cynthia never asked for that kind of help.
“Georgia sees herself as protecting Cynthia and her son,” Lampert says. “But from Cynthia’s POV? Georgia killed her husband. That’s not something you just move past.”
Their Cold War-like dynamic could turn explosive. Especially now that Ginny tried to frame Cynthia for Tom’s death in court — a move Georgia refused to back.
Is Paul Done with Georgia or Planning His Revenge?
After learning of Georgia’s betrayal, Paul resigns as mayor and walks out of their marriage. But something about his quiet exit feels … unfinished.
Will Paul return to seek custody of the baby (if the child is his)? Or worse — will he use his political clout to dismantle Georgia’s world from the outside?
As calm as Paul seems, he now understands the full extent of Georgia’s darkness. That makes him unpredictable and potentially dangerous.
Is Ginny Becoming Georgia?
By the end of Season 3, Ginny is no longer the moral compass of the show. She lies, manipulates and sacrifices her brother’s innocence to protect her mom. Sound familiar?
“She’s totally becoming a mini Georgia,” Gentry says. “Even Georgia is like, ‘Oh, no, what have I done?’”
This generational mirroring is the emotional heartbeat of the show, and it’s getting darker by the episode.
What’s Lurking in Georgia’s Past?
The final scene reveals a chilling new twist: Georgia’s estranged mother and stepfather are back. Their motives are unclear, but their arrival signals that more of Georgia’s traumatic past is about to resurface.
“We’ve only scratched the surface of who Georgia really is,” Glinski hints. “That reunion won’t be peaceful.”
Will Wellsbury Turn on the Millers?
From the courtroom stunt to the mayoral scandal, the Miller family has stirred up enough drama to fracture the entire town. As Lampert says, “Wellsbury might not be so welcoming anymore.”
Season 4 could pit the Millers against the very community they tried to blend into, raising the stakes for everyone, especially Ginny and Austin.
