As if Ginny’s life isn’t complicated enough, she found out she was pregnant during the third season of Ginny & Georgia.
During the sixth episode of season 3, which premiered on Thursday, June 5, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) tried to distract herself from Georgia’s (Brianne Howey) murder trial — and the CPS visit — by spending more time with Wolfe (Ty Doran). While they weren’t initially sexually active, Ginny ultimately hooked up with Wolfe at a house party.
Ginny found out she was pregnant at the end of the episode when MANG all took pregnancy tests to support Norah (Chelsea Clark), whose period was late after sleeping with her long term boyfriend. Ginny lied and said she wasn’t pregnant but then the audience saw the real results.
Elsewhere in the episode, Georgia spiraled under the weight of her trial going viral. Her past was being dug up, which caused her biological father to call her from prison. She didn’t pick up but when Joe (Raymond Ablack) visited her, Georgia revealed her dad got arrested for attempting to kill her and her mother when she was a child.
In addition to the trial, Georgia was having concerning thoughts about whether her kids were better off without her. Ginny’s therapist helped Georgia through it but it was obvious she needed more help. Georgia also shared a sweet moment with Marcus (Felix Mallard) when he visited to help change her window after someone threw a brick through it.

Amid the drama in their own lives, Ginny and Georgia had struggles with Zion (Nathan Mitchell). Ginny specifically couldn’t forgive her father for calling CPS on her mother. She revealed to Zion that she was concerned for Austin (Diesel La Torraca) because his father, Gil (Aaron Ashmore), was abusive.

Flashbacks in this episode showed a time in Georgia’s life when she was with her kids and Zion. Despite making up fun excuses for why their electricity was out, Georgia and Zion were struggling to pay the bills and questioning their future together. Zion wanted them to be a couple for Ginny while Georgia wasn’t happy that Zion only wanted to propose so their daughter had parents who were still together.
Ginny & Georgia, which premiered in 2021, follows a young single mother who moved her family to Wellsbury, Massachusetts, after running away from her past. In addition to Howey, 35, and Gentry, 27, the Netflix series also stars La Torraca, Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter and Ablack.
While season 3 has been conflicting for Georgia, it has reignited the chemistry between herself and Joe. For those that need a refresher, it was previously revealed that Joe and Georgia met when they were teenagers. Joe recognized Georgia and his crush continued but Georgia found love with Paul (Scott Porter).
“He’s in a vulnerable and crunchy place because the woman who he loves — or he wants to love — just married another man. So that’s tough. But you don’t just let go of those feelings very quickly,” Ablack, 35, exclusively told Us Weekly in May. “And her honeymoon is a murder trial, so he does still need to be there for his friend.”
He continued: “Balancing protecting your own heart vs. being there for someone that he cares about deeply — that’s tough. So that’s where he is at and it’s an intense place. It does set up nicely for season 4 to go explosive. It sets up really nicely for Joe to do something very explosive.”
Ginny & Georgia is currently streaming on Netflix.
