Fox News host Greg Gutfeld is set to return to the network on Monday, January 6th after stepping away for paternity leave after he and his wife welcomed a baby girl in December.
On Tuesday, December 10th, Dana Perino announced that Gutfeld was absent for the best of reasons, as his wife had given birth to a daughter. In a statement sent to the show, Gutfeld joked that his daughter was “healthy with a real set of lungs.”
Greg Gutfeld’s return to Fox News follows 2024, which was his late-night show — Gutfeld! — seeing its best year in program history, as it averaged 2.5 million viewers. A September visit with then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump set a new high-water mark for the show as nearly 5 million viewers tuned into the conversation.
In addition to hosting the late-night show, Gutfeld, 60, is also a panelist on the network’s show The Five — alongside hosts Jesse Watters, Dana Perino, and Jeanine Pirro — which led all of cable news in total viewership during 2024.
