Holly Willoughby, who is now 44 and happily married to hubby Dan Baldwin for 17 years, shares three children with the TV executive: Harry, 15, Belle, 13, and Chester, 10. However, Holly once shared a series of playful pecks with co-star Stephen Mulhern, 47, on ITV’s show.
The duo has a long-standing work relationship, dating back over two decades, first collaborating on Ministry of Mayhem, where they co-presented.
The former This Morning host and Stephen had several kissing moments in a Christmas episode, where mistletoe was involved. In a memorable segment from their stint on the show from 2004 to 2006, Stephen, then 46, presented Holly with a gift containing mistletoe, declaring, “Here’s the deal, if you open it you must wear it for the whole show.”
An ecstatic Holly exclaimed: “Hurray for me! I can kiss all of the boys in the world all of the time,” then sang, “Tis the season to kiss Holly fa la la la la”.
Stephen snatched his chance for a first kiss, leading a surprised Holly to protest, “No! Stephen, you don’t count!” However, he persisted, “What do you mean I don’t count? Whoever you are under the mistletoe with you must kiss.”, reports Birmingham Live.
Securing another smooch, Holly playfully warned him: “Don’t wear my lips out, I am going to be kissing Anthony from Blue soon.”
After ensuring three more kisses during the episode, Holly finally removed the mistletoe and concluded: “Right, that does it! I am taking this off – and you are definitely on the naughty list.”
Holly has always been discreet about her past relationships, choosing to keep her love life private. However, it’s reported that she was in a relationship with GP Matt Goodman, who is now married to Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison, for a significant period before Holly landed her first presenting role.
