
Keanu Reeves, 60, and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, 51, have captured the hearts of fans with their low-key, genuine romance.
Alexandra, a talented artist, has made a name for herself through her multidisciplinary work. As Keanu’s partner, she has garnered attention for their authentic connection and down-to-earth approach to their relationship.
In an interview with People, Keanu shared a tender moment he experienced with Alexandra, describing how they were “connected,” “smiling and laughing and giggling” while in bed together. “A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together,” he said.

Alexandra is an accomplished artist with a background in painting, drawing, sculpture, and video. Her art often explores the connections between language, communication, and human relationships.
She has exhibited her work in prestigious galleries and museums, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Galerie Gradiva in Paris, and the Harris Lieberman Gallery in New York.

Additionally, she is a philanthropist who founded the grantLOVE project in 2008, which raises funds for non-profit organizations through the sale of her artwork.
Speaking to People, Alexandra credited her romance with the John Wick star for improving her art. “I had a studio visit a few years ago, and this very kind, very high-level person said, ‘I can see that your work has gotten happier,'” she told the publication. “That’s real. We’re all human beings. We’re animals. We’re expressing from where we are. I think the work is happier.”
First meeting
The pair’s connection dates back years, as they collaborated on the 2011 book Ode to Happiness and the 2016 series Shadows, establishing a solid creative and personal partnership.

Their friend and actress Jennifer Tilly revealed that Keanu and Alexandra had been dating for several years before their relationship surfaced publicly.
According to Jennifer, Keanu and Alexandra’s low-key approach to their relationship has garnered admiration. Jennifer said: “I think everybody wishes that they had something like that. It’s not a razzle-dazzle Hollywood romance.”

Alexandra opened up to Vogue about her mixed emotions regarding her decision to publicize her relationship, saying, “I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that’s fascinating, but the question I’ve been asking in all of this is: ‘What is the opportunity for good?'”

The couple often keep their love life out of the spotlight
She added that “love at every level is deeply important” to her identity and expressed her belief in the value of being in relationships, saying: “I do not believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships.”
Keanu and Alexandra’s romance has been mostly private, with the couple appearing together at only a few public events. Their relationship first gained attention when they walked hand in hand at LACMA’s Art + Film Gala in November 2019.
