The White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wed her husband Nicholas Riccio in a lavish country club wedding in New Hampshire

US politician aide Karoline Leavitt has shared an insight into her wedding nuptials from earlier this year to husband Nicholas Riccio.

The 27-year-old and the 59-year-old real estate mogul officially tied the knot at the start of the year, after welcoming their son Niko in July 2024. The special day was held in New Hampshire with a no expense spared affair at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Rye.

Taking to Instagram, Leavitt shared photos from the special day as she went from a miss to a Mrs. She told followers: “Finally found some time to post a few of my favorite pictures from one of my favorite days!”

In one of the pictures Leavitt and Riccio can be seen walking hand in hand up the green, and in another the couple posed by the bar under a neon sign which reads ‘The Riccio’s’. The couple held their nuptials at the New Hampshire country club venue, which charges full week memberships starting at $1,595 for singles and $2,850 for couples.

Pictures from the big day on Leavitt’s Instagram also show the inside of the country club, which has 161 rooms and is owned by Ocean Properties Hotels and Resorts. The Instagram post from Leavitt of her wedding day at the start of the year has been flooded with well wishes and congratulatory messages, as one person wrote: “So absolutely beautiful and so much love!!!!!”

Another added: “So beautiful. Just like your heart. America needed you. Thank you!”

Leavitt has previously opened up about her relationship with her husband, who is 32 years older than her. Speaking to Megyn Kelly on her talk show, Leavitt shared how the couple first met as she recalled: “I met my husband during my Congressional Campaign. A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband. I was speaking. We met and we were acquainted as friends. And then we fell in love.”

Reflecting on their relationship she added: “I mean it’s a very atypical love story but he’s incredible. He is my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend and he’s my rock.”

The pair got engaged in December 2023, with an excited Leavitt taking to social media to share the news as she wrote: “The best Christmas of my life. I get to marry the man of my dreams. I feel SO overwhelmingly BLESSED. Thank you God.”

The Instagram dedication to Leavitt’s husband and inside look at Leavitt’s wedding day comes as she holds a press conference at the White House, ahead of President Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s scheduled telephone call tomorrow. The two country leaders are due to speak, with many topics set to e discussed including the ongoing fighting between Russia and Ukraine.
