A release date for Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s Nobody Wants This Season 2 has been revealed and it is closer than we think!
Nobody Wants This Season 2 was greenlit with the release of the first season back in 2024. The second season of this iconic show is expected to premiere on October 23, 2025, on Netflix, according to Deadline.
Starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody in the lead roles, this comedy series took the audience on a wild ride as an agnostic person and a rabbi fall in love, and their task is to stay together despite their differences. Of course, since people liked the show so much, we will be getting a second season pretty soon.
The story will pick up right from when the first season ended, with Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) trying to continue their relationship while also following their traditions and beliefs.

Well, with the second season on the way, it seems that Nobody Wants This will depict troubling times ahead because everyone knows that falling in love is easy. Staying in love, however, is a different story altogether.
The plot of the second season will follow Noah and Joanne as they try to work out their differences. Being agnostic and a s*x podcaster isn’t really handy with Noah being a rabbi, and the official tagline of the second season states that “The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them.”
So you pretty much get the gist of things. Adam Brody and Kristen Bell will reprise their role from the first season alongside several other actors such as Jackie Tohn, Arian Moayed, Alex Karpovsky, and more.
The episodes will be thirty minutes in length, and season 2 will comprise 10 such episodes to tell the tale of Noah and Joanne. Although the show could potentially end with two seasons, creator Erin Foster has an unlikely idea that could turn this whole showbiz… into her own podcast.

Erin Foster is the creator of this iconic show, and part of the storyline is loosely based on her own personal experience while being with her husband, Simon Tikhman.
While talking to People, Foster, who sat alongside her sister, Sara Foster revealed that she wanted to have a cameo appearance before the show ended. Although it has been confirmed that Foster will not be making an appearance in season 2, it brings us the possibility of a third season of Nobody Wants This.
I always thought that it’d be fun to do that, but I never created a character that I thought was the perfect character. Maybe season 3, Morgan and Joanne go on sabbatical and then it’s us.
Erin Foster continued,
Oh, we just replace them.
Well, that would indeed be an iconic way to turn this comedy show into a podcast, and though it is very unlikely, Nobody Wants This could go down that way for the third season.
Of course, nothing can be confirmed or denied at the moment regarding a third season. Maybe if the reviews for the second season turn out good, we may get more than three seasons of this show. Who knows?

Nobody Wants This Season 2 will release on October 23, and will be available to stream on Netflix (USA).
