She recently detailed her multiple arrests and shared her mugshots on Instagram, reflecting on who was and who she is now.
Bunnie (real name Alisa Ford) got the idea to open up to her fans after having her lawyer pull all her past mugshots for an idea related to merchandise for her upcoming book tour.
“Looking at the first one, I just couldn’t believe what a baby I was,” she reflected. “I was 19 , already living on the streets of Vegas for 5 years, couch to couch, or with whatever boyfriend would let me stay. By then I’d already lost three babies.”
She continued, “As the pics go on the eyes only get more sad, more broken & more intoxicated. The fact that I’m smiling in some of these will let you kno[w] just how disconnected I was from myself & my emotions.”
“I look at those photos now & just want to hug that little girl. She thought surviving meant hyper independence, fighting in the streets, barking loud & biting even harder.”
In the seventh and final photo in the lineup, Bunnie explained she was 26 at the time and had been arrested for soliciting an undercover officer in a casino, a point that was pretty much her rock bottom. “I was deep in addiction, lost in survival mode. Add in a splash of perpetual victim mentality & it was a recipe for disaster,” she wrote.

She explained she became “sick” of herself, “Sick of humiliating myself, sick of always having to start over & sick of who I was as a human.”
Bunnie focused on taking responsibility, as well as relying on her personal faith, writing that she felt “even when I didn’t deserve it, God kept pulling me out the fire.”
She encouraged anyone reading her post that “you can rebuild” and start over.

“I’m not ashamed of these photos. They remind me who I used to be, & how far grace has carried me,” the podcast host said, adding, “I’m still learning. I’m still healing but one thing is for certain- if He could do it for me He damn sure can do it for you too.”
Bunnie promised to open up even more in her book, “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic,” which will be out in February 2026.
Jelly Roll commented on his wife’s heartfelt post.

“I would have never became the man I am with out you. It was your story that inspired mine, it was always you I was trying to be like,” he wrote. “I’m glad the world is about to hear the real perseverance , and see what God can really do. While people talked about us, judged us, wished on our downfall, we just stayed the course and believed what God had for us no man could take away. We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the power of out testimony. TESTIFY BABY! TESTIFY!”
